Blame It On the Vision Board

As Dr. Phil puts it, “You have to name it to claim it.”  My own mother has also shared similar advice over the years. advising that sometimes, “You just need to know what you want and put it out to the universe”.  After all, she ended up with her soul mate after describing him  in great detail on her vision board. While I didn’t go that far – after all I am a very happily married woman – I did do a vision board and figured I’d start small.  Having tuned into the statistics documenting the fast growth of podcasts, I included doing a podcast on my own 2020 vision board.

Okay in the interest of full disclosure, I did a little more than put it on my vision board, I also gave it a little nudge by following up with Municipal World. I figured that since I had written articles for them they might be willing to give me a shot at a podcast interview. The universe may have stepped in however, since within a week of sending my email, I did two podcasts. It was a suprirsingly fun experience guided by their very astute CEO Susan Gardner and editor and publisher of their flagship magazine,  Municipal World  Its interesting to note that it has been continuously published since 89 – longer than any other municipal magazine in the world.

Anyway, if you’re up for it, here are the links to this rookie’s first two podcasts.
